Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book "Wool" – the book has 82 chapters
Men and women live in a giant silo underground with several regulations which they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic and ruined world on the surface.. Whether they are exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about.. The fans on the floor in various episodes turn in the wrong direction, regarding the orientation of the blades.
I liked Silo very much
Rotating this way does not push or pull any air.. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 2023 TV Shows You Need to Binge (2023). Just my kind of series.
I love mystery and suspense
I had neither read nor heard of the books that Silo is based on though. The story is good and interesting. The series takes place 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 people who are now left live in a silo, and these people have never been outside the silo.
They don't even know what stars are
They know, however, that it is fatal to go outside the silo. Some people choose to go outside to find out more, but they always die. Those who remain in the silo can witness through a window every time someone wants to go out, and see how and when they die.
However, the pacing can be a bit slow, as there are some filler episodes
Rebecca Ferguson has the lead role as Juliette Nichols, who tries to find out what's outside the silo and why they can't go out without dying. The acting is good, as is the character development. They undoubtedly could have shortened the series by at least two episodes, but it doesn't bother me that much, because the series as a whole is very good.I look forward to season 2 with more suspense, mystery and answers about what's going on outside the silo!
