The world’s most famous superhero and comic book character's most famous journalist faces the pressures and complexities that come with balancing work, justice, and fatherhood in today’s society. The pilot pays homage to "Action Comics" #1 (Superman’s Debut) featuring the hero’s original Golden Age costume for the first time in live-action. The famous green car from the cover also appears.

Superman flies past the WB logo and turns it into the DC Comics logo. Both logos are red and blue and are located at Kent Farm. .

We finished season 3 a few days ago and were very disappointed

I would give seasons 1 and 2 a 9 out of 10 but season 3 only a 4 out of 10. The cancer storyline dominated the entire season which some people welcomed but that makes it unwatchable for others. There are multiple scenes in each episode where they just talk about cancer, and in some episodes you don’t even see Superman, or if you do, it’s fleeting.

What a difference!

We survived though, and were relieved when Lex Luthor showed up at the end of the series and looked more like Superman again. We finished season three and went right back to the beginning of season one. Season one is so beautiful; the action is top notch, the effects are top notch, and the acting is top notch.

It’s like a completely different series

We really hope season 4 gets back to the good old Superman and Lois. As a family that has experienced cancer (like most others), season 3 just didn’t feel like Superman. It was very depressing at times, not an escape from the “real world” that we need after a hard day at the office.
