Scenario

Follow Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West, and her relationship with Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. The second part of a two-part feature film adaptation of the Broadway musical. In April 2022, it was first announced that Wicked would be split into two films. Composer Stephen Schwartz explained this: “The truth is, for a while we were trying to make it a single film, which meant we had to leave out or omit things that we wanted to include and that we think fans of the show and the story will appreciate.” He added: “We found it very difficult to get past ‘Defying Gravity’ without a break.
